Howdy!

I’m Kat! A 30-something, coffee-guzzling, whisky sipping, writer, adventurer, and jack-of-all-trades-master-of-some nerd. I recently remembered how important storytelling is to my glitter and stardust lined soul, so here we are!

I hold a B.A. in Film and Video Production with a minor in Creative Writing, 15 years of hospitality experience, and am certified in non-profit management and grant writing. I volunteer with a few rad Pacific Northwest teams that tolerate me gushing and caring for critters and fellow writers alike.

My current addictions include outside and Baldur’s Gate 3. #HalsinGirlie

I like stories that make you peel apart your emotions, your understanding of the world, etc. and then, with raw and honest curiosity, poke them with sticks. Oh, you didn’t know that joke was just slathered in grief and a nebulous sense of self until now? Great, my work here is done.
